Comfort without an outdoor unit in a historically protected building: IDRA Next

In the historic centre of Busseto, within a building subject to architectural constraints, an air-conditioning system was installed without the need for outdoor units on the façade. The objective was to provide comfort in the living room and bedroom while preserving the building's appearance and respecting the historical context.

To meet these requirements, an 18,000 BTU IDRA Next Dual Split system was selected. The water-cooled condensing unit was installed entirely indoors, inside an existing technical room, eliminating any visual impact on the exterior of the building.

The system was connected to two indoor units, one located in the living room and the other in the bedroom, ensuring effective climate control in the main living areas of the apartment. This configuration made it possible to integrate air conditioning discreetly, without altering the façade or compromising the architectural character of the property.

This project demonstrates how air conditioning can be successfully integrated into historic or protected buildings where traditional systems with outdoor units are not permitted.
